Kaali Crater
An iron meteorite broke apart over Saaremaa and hit the island as nine separate pieces, the largest leaving a crater that now holds a lake. A 2016 study dated charcoal thrown out by the impact to roughly 1530 to 1450 BC, which puts it inside the Bronze Age with people living within sight of it. Whether anyone remembered it afterward is a modern argument, not an inherited tradition.
