Hoia Baciu Forest sits near Cluj-Napoca in Transylvania, Romania. It is a real recreational forest used for walking, cycling, and outdoor activities, but its global identity is paranormal. The modern legend grew especially after 1968, when military technician Emil Barnea photographed what he claimed was a UFO above the forest.
